Tress is the braid. Braiding lays strands against one another so that together they carry what no single strand could — and a braid was never merely decoration. This cable wears that name literally.
Totem's Tress is a twisted pair of 14-gauge multi-strand — silver-plated oxygen-free conductors in a tight Teflon dielectric that shrugs off oxidation, FT4-rated for in-wall runs in its home market. Joenit sells it the way it comes off the reel: bare, by the metre. You buy the length the room asks for, and the ends get terminated to suit your system.
You do not buy a braid by the piece — you plait it to length, and that is how this cable goes into the room.
