Architectural speakers do their best work by not being seen: a hole in the plasterboard, a grille that takes your wall paint, and a room that sounds far larger than it looks. Totem build two ladders — Kin for flexible, sensible installations, Tribe for the tone of a real hi-fi speaker — in three shapes: in-ceiling, angled in-ceiling and in-wall, with two in-wall subwoofers underneath. Choose by the hole your ceiling or wall can give you, then by how much of the room the speaker has to carry.
