Totem Acoustic Bison Twin Tower loudspeaker
A herd is not a sum. It moves as one animal.
That is how the Twin Tower arrives at the top of the Bison range — not with a bigger woofer or a third way, but with two identical 5.25-inch woofers running in the same frequency band. The midrange gains body without being handed off to a separate driver, and the bass reaches 31 Hz. The crossover moves to second order and the load drops to 4 ohms: at 90 dB it plays loud easily, but it wants an amplifier that is comfortable down there, and it will take up to 200 watts. Give it a large room — 30 to 90 cm off the back wall, 1.2 to 3.7 m between the pair.
And then the two move together, with the matter-of-factness of animals that have never done anything else.
