Tribe Tower
The Tribe Tower is the narrow one. At 17.8 cm wide and 93.5 cm tall it takes less floor than most speaker stands, and Totem allows it 10 cm from the wall behind — so it belongs in the room where a conventional tower would be an argument. It reaches 30 Hz from two 4-inch drivers, which sounds unlikely until you know what they are: Torrent units, whose magnet design holds the voice coil in the field continuously and lets them run with no crossover components at all. The only filter in the speaker is a first-order one on the 1.3-inch textile dome. It is a 4-ohm load at 89 dB, and the machined aluminium decouplers underneath come fitted. Give it a hundred hours.
