The Arro is the answer to a room that has no space for speakers. It is 13 cm wide and 85 cm tall — a floorstander with the footprint of a book — and it can sit as close as 15 cm to the wall behind it, which is where most towers fall apart. What comes out of it is the Totem trick in its purest form: a single 4.5-inch sandwich-cone woofer with a double magnet, reaching 40 Hz in a properly placed room, and a soundstage that has no business coming from something this narrow. It is a 4-ohm load, so give it an amplifier with current rather than the most watts. The plinth stabiliser keeps it steady, and spikes are in the box for carpet.
