The Kin Architectural IW is the workhorse of the range: one compact box, mounted upright as a front left or right, on its side as a centre, or high on a wall as a surround. Twin 4-inch MHEX woofers flank a titanium-infused dome, all sealed into an integrated wood back box, so it sounds the same whether the cavity behind it is insulated, empty or shared with a bedroom. The numbers an installer needs: 370 x 162 mm cutout, 95 mm deep, 30 to 120 watts, 90 dB. Bass starts at 69 Hz, so this is a speaker you specify together with a subwoofer — and the reward is a full-range system with nothing in the room but a paintable grille.
