Where the Sub 8 is ported, the Sub 10 is sealed — and that changes its character more than the extra inch does. The trapped air damps the cone, so bass starts and stops cleanly and the cabinet can stand close to a wall, or inside furniture, without turning boomy. A 10-inch spun-fibreglass cone on an oversized vented magnet, 300 watts of Class D, and a response to 27 Hz. Bass EQ switches between Natural, which stays linear, and High Impact when a film asks for it. Crossover 50 to 150 Hz, variable phase and level. A wireless receiver is built in: add the Link transmitter and this subwoofer needs a power socket and nothing else.
