TO TRIBE IN-WALL SUB 12"
The Sub 12 is for the room that has to be felt. A single 12-inch Kevlar-honeycomb driver on a 5.25-inch voice coil works against a matched 12-inch passive radiator in the same 96 mm of depth as the Double 8, and reaches 22 Hz — low enough that a film's floor arrives rather than being implied. It asks for a bigger hole, 370 x 690 mm, and it wants an amplifier to itself: unlike the Double 8, one Sub 12 per 500-watt Totem amp, which again ships with it. Same wood-stud rule, same satin white or black grille that takes your wall paint. Choose the Double 8 for a tidy fit; choose this one when the brief says cinema.
