Totem has made a uniquely appealing set of floorstanding speakers with the Bison. They sound great, and there is certainly more than meets the eye with their physical size and form factor.

Bison Tower
The Tower is the Monitor's answer to a room that is too big for stands. Same 1.3-inch tweeter, same first-order crossover at 2.5 kHz, same easy 8-ohm load — but in a floorstanding cabinet 85 cm tall and only 17.5 cm wide, which buys you 33 Hz instead of 40 and takes the stands out of the equation. It is a genuinely slim tower: at 14.5 kg it weighs barely more than the Monitor, and it is not fussy about where in the room it goes. It stands on machined Delrin claw feet that decouple it from the floor and tighten the bass — Totem voiced it exactly like that, so spikes are an option for thick carpet, not an upgrade.
